Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Arthur Sable (Wellsboro, Pennsylvania), born in Oneida, New York, who passed away at the age of 86, on September 8, 2019. Wellsboro is our home – my wife is a teacher at a local private school and both of our daughters were born at Soldiers & Sailors Hospital – and I am committed to providing Wellsboro and Tioga County with the kind of experience and care that we wanted ourselves from our financial advisor.It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. These solutions aren’t just “set it and forget it” – I partner with my clients throughout their life to help keep them on track. I become personally involved in my client's financial goals by taking the time to listen to what is most important to them and offering custom solutions to help achieve those goals. Now I spend my time assisting individuals, families and business owners in building, organizing and protecting their financial goals using an established process tailored to each unique situation. After learning more about the company and the culture, I made the decision to join Edward Jones as a financial advisor and to open an office in Wellsboro to serve Tioga County. It dawned on me that if we wanted these things from our financial advisor that it was likely others in our community did also. It turned out that the things we wanted from our financial advisor were the exact things that they had experienced working with their Edward Jones financial advisor. I asked my parents, who are Edward Jones clients, about their experience with their financial advisor. We were disappointed when nothing in our community met those standards. And we wanted to work with someone who cared about our financial future as much as we did. We didn’t want a ‘one-size fits all’ plan we wanted a strategy personalized. We searched for someone to assist us – not just take our money to invest, but someone who would take the time to really listen to what was important to us. We could no longer just leave our financial goals to chance – retirement, college education, protecting our family, leaving a legacy – we needed a plan. Everything changed in our life when our first daughter arrived.
